Do you like sto­rage? Do you mas­ter back­ups? The Sys­tem and infra­struc­tu­re team is sear­ching for a new col­le­ague. You will be part of the Unix and Sto­rage Team in an enter­pri­se envi­ron­ment and you will take care of thou­sands of ser­vers and Peta­bytes of sto­rage. Tog­e­ther with expe­ri­en­ced peo­p­le you will be part of a mul­ti­l­in­gu­al team.Responsibilities

  • Ensu­re that the sto­rage is always available and well per­forming
  • Ensu­re that back­ups are always run­ning and pro­per­ly stored
  • Wri­te and imple­ment back­up poli­ci­es
  • Fol­low the evo­lu­ti­on of the infra­struc­tu­re, imple­ment new solu­ti­ons, per­form migra­ti­ons

Pro­fi­le

  • Excel­lent sto­rage know­ledge (Net­app and pre­fer­a­b­ly IBM block sto­rage)
  • Excel­lent back­up tool know­ledge (IBM Spec­trum Pro­tect (TSM) and Vee­am)
  • Unix/Linux know­ledge
  • Good ver­bal and writ­ten skills in Eng­lish are requi­red, Ger­man and/or Ita­li­an skills are a plus
  • AIX know­ledge and IBM power sys­tems know­ledge is nice to have
