Job Descrip­ti­on

The Plat­form Engi­nee­ring area at SMG Real Estate owns the Inter­nal Deve­lo­p­ment Plat­form on top of which the other teams deve­lop, main­tain and mana­ge our pro­duct.

Plat­form Engi­nee­ring is com­po­sed of two teams, Deve­lo­per Expe­ri­ence (DevX) and Infra­struc­tu­re. We are loo­king for the next DevX Seni­or Full Stack Engi­neer.

As a mem­ber of DevX, you will:

  • Work with all engi­neers to under­stand the chal­lenges they face and how to impro­ve their expe­ri­ence
  • Levera­ge your own know­ledge and expe­ri­ence to help deve­lop the best deve­lo­p­ment plat­form for our engi­nee­ring teams to work on
  • Help defi­ne pro­ces­ses, frame­works and best prac­ti­ces for deve­lo­p­ment across the Real Estate busi­ness unit
  • Help deve­lop and main­tain CI/CD pipe­lines to deploy the com­pon­ents of our pro­duct
  • Help deve­lop and main­tain auto­ma­ti­on and “as code” pro­vi­sio­ning of the under­ly­ing infra­struc­tu­re that sup­ports the com­pon­ents of our pro­duct

Qua­li­fi­ca­ti­ons

Must-have’s

  • You want to work hel­ping engi­neers to be more pro­duc­ti­ve and have the best pos­si­ble expe­ri­ence at work.
  • Strong Eng­lish com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on skills
  • 5+ years of expe­ri­ence working with Type­Script
  • 2+ years of expe­ri­ence working with , espe­ci­al­ly with ver­si­on 3
  • 2+ years of expe­ri­ence working with

Nice-to-have’s

  • Expe­ri­ence in the are­as of Deve­lo­per Expe­ri­ence or Plat­form Engi­nee­ring
  • Expe­ri­ence with AWS Lamb­da
  • Expe­ri­ence with AWS CDK
  • Expe­ri­ence imple­men­ting deploy­ment pipe­lines, espe­ci­al­ly with Git­Hub Actions
  • Expe­ri­ence in main­tai­ning com­po­nent libra­ri­es
