Your Tasks

  • Act as soft­ware pro­ject lead, liai­se with pro­ject sys­tem engi­neers on a tech­ni­cal level to ensu­re cor­rect soft­ware requi­re­ment cap­tu­ring, tracea­bi­li­ty, and test­a­bi­lit
  • Design, mana­ge and imple­ment to com­ple­ti­on the soft­ware com­pon­ents (CSCIs) for ground-based trai­ning sys­tems such as back-end ser­vices for Win­dows and Linux plat­forms, as well as front-end mul­ti-plat­form deve­lo­p­ment and web appli­ca­ti­on
  • Pro­duc­tion of soft­ware tests, test pro­ce­du­res and docu­men­ta­ti­on for the imple­men­ted soft­ware com­pon­ents
  • Per­form vali­da­ti­on & veri­fi­ca­ti­on acti­vi­ties in sup­port to the V&V engi­nee­ring team
  • Coor­di­na­te acti­vi­ties of a small group of soft­ware deve­lo­pers in the exe­cu­ti­on of a pro­ject

  • Engi­nee­ring degree in soft­ware, elec­tro­nics or aero­nau­ti­cal engi­nee­ring and at least (5) years of expe­ri­ence in both front-end and back-end soft­ware deve­lo­p­ment for cross-plat­form appli­ca­ti­ons such as Win­dows, Linux, Web
  • Expe­ri­ence lea­ding soft­ware deve­lo­p­ment pro­jects and gui­ding small pro­ject teams in soft­ware imple­men­ta­ti­on acti­vi­ties
  • Expe­ri­ence with front-end deve­lo­p­ment using Java­Script, HTML5 for web appli­ca­ti­ons, with C++ and C#/.NET for desk­top appli­ca­ti­ons and back-end deve­lo­p­ment, and soft­ware ver­si­on con­trol sys­tems such as Git
  • Expe­ri­ence working on ground-based trai­ning sys­tems, inclu­ding com­pu­ter-based trai­ning sys­tems (CBT) and lear­ning manage­ment sys­tems (LMS), as well as fami­lia­ri­ty with air­craft avio­nics and requi­re­ment-based soft­ware deve­lo­p­ment stan­dards (., MIL-STD-498, IEEE/EIA 12207) are a plus
  • Fluen­cy in Eng­lish (C1) both spo­ken and writ­ten, addi­tio­nal lan­guages are advan­ta­ge­ous
  • Self-moti­va­ted indi­vi­du­al with the abili­ty to work auto­no­mously within agile/Scrum teams and meet dead­lines with mini­mal super­vi­si­on; strong com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on skills and a solu­ti­on-ori­en­ted mind­set are essen­ti­al
