Your Tasks

  • Deve­lop soft­ware for the simu­la­ti­on of flight phy­sics and sys­tems of trai­ner air­crafts, inclu­ding models for flight dyna­mics, ground dyna­mics, flight con­trols, con­trol loa­ding, auto­pi­lot, engi­ne, pro­pel­ler, atmo­sphe­re and com­pu­ter-gene­ra­ted forces
  • Ensu­re the simu­la­ti­on models com­ply with the appli­ca­ble simu­la­tor levels and regu­la­ti­ons (EASA, ICAO, FAA), main­tain the Qua­li­fi­ca­ti­on Test Gui­de (QTG) and sup­port the qua­li­fi­ca­ti­ons with the cus­to­mer
  • Coor­di­na­te ground and flight data gathe­ring acti­vi­ties with the Engi­nee­ring busi­ness unit (flight phy­sics, avio­nics, pro­pul­si­on, mecha­ni­cal sys­tems) sup­port­ing flight simu­la­ti­on deve­lo­p­ment for Ground Based Trai­ning Sys­tems (GBTS)
  • Sup­port GBTS inte­gra­ti­on, instal­la­ti­on, veri­fi­ca­ti­on & vali­da­ti­on (V&V) and in-ser­vice sup­port acti­vi­ties, coope­ra­ting with pro­ject manage­ment, qua­li­ty manage­ment, sup­pli­ers and cus­to­mers
  • Wri­te and review tech­ni­cal docu­men­ta­ti­on as part of the GBTS life­cy­cle, inclu­si­ve of tech­ni­cal spe­ci­fi­ca­ti­ons, system/software requi­re­ments, sys­tem design spe­ci­fi­ca­ti­ons and tech­ni­cal memos
  • Know­ledge the V‑model and expe­ri­ence with Model-Based Sys­tem Engi­nee­ring is an advan­ta­ge
  • With this you con­vin­ce us

  • Mas­ter degree in Aero­space Engi­nee­ring or simi­lar degree with a focus on flight phy­sics (par­ti­cu­lar­ly aero­dy­na­mics, flight dyna­mics and air­craft per­for­mance), avio­nics and com­plex sys­tems
  • Expe­ri­ence with C++, python and Matlab/Simulink, con­trol loa­ding sys­tems (., MOOG) and inte­gra­ti­on of models in trai­ning devices with com­plex hardware/software in the loop as well as prac­ti­cal know­ledge of appli­ca­ble simu­la­tor levels and regu­la­ti­ons (. EASA, FAA, ICAO)
  • Expe­ri­ence with auto­ma­tic flight con­trols or con­trol sys­tems and inte­gra­ti­on of real or simu­la­ted avio­nics is an advan­ta­ge, as well as with sys­tem engi­nee­ring metho­do­lo­gies (., MIL-498) and qua­li­ty stan­dards tools for requi­re­ments manage­ment (., DOORS), agi­le pro­ject manage­ment (Jira) and con­fi­gu­ra­ti­on manage­ment (., Team­cen­ter)
  • Excel­lent social and com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on skills with a fluen­cy in Eng­lish (spo­ken and writ­ten), Ger­man is an advan­ta­ge
  • Abili­ty to per­form to tight dead­lines and under pres­su­re on par­al­lel acti­vi­ties, prio­ri­tiz­ing tasks with a struc­tu­red approach and working equal­ly well in a team or indi­vi­du­al­ly with a proac­ti­ve atti­tu­de
  • Wil­ling­ness to tra­vel inter­na­tio­nal­ly is man­da­to­ry, as occa­sio­nal­ly requi­red
