Your respon­si­bi­li­ties

  • Enga­ge in real-world appli­ca­ti­ons of cyber­se­cu­ri­ty prac­ti­ces with a focus on both (auto­ma­ted & sca­lable) offen­si­ve and defen­si­ve stra­te­gies.
  • Imple­ment, mana­ge, and moni­tor secu­ri­ty con­trols across our diver­se cloud envi­ron­ments and on-pre­mi­se sys­tems. Engi­neer secu­re solu­ti­ons, while har­dening our exis­ting apps and infra­struc­tu­re. Col­la­bo­ra­te with deve­lo­p­ment teams to inte­gra­te secu­ri­ty best prac­ti­ces into our Dev­Se­cOps cycle and CI/CD pipe­lines.
  • Auto­ma­te secu­ri­ty work­flows with popu­lar scrip­ting and pro­gramming lan­guages, and review code to squash vul­nerabi­li­ties befo­re hit­ting the wild.
  • Actively par­ti­ci­pa­te in thre­at hun­ting, detec­tion, inci­dent respon­se, and vul­nerabi­li­ty manage­ment acti­vi­ties.
  • Con­tri­bu­te to secu­ri­ty archi­tec­ting initia­ti­ves that bols­ter our defen­si­ve mecha­nisms and pre­vent future thre­ats.

Your skills

  • Hig­her edu­ca­ti­on degree in com­pu­ter sci­ence or cyber secu­ri­ty (ETH/UNI/FH) or equi­va­lent rele­vant pro­fes­sio­nal expe­ri­ence is requi­red.
  • Recent expe­ri­ence in defen­si­ve and/or offen­si­ve cyber secu­ri­ty operations/activities over seve­ral years is essen­ti­al. Achie­ve­ment of indus­try reco­gni­zed cer­ti­fi­ca­ti­ons is a plus. Soft­ware engi­nee­ring expe­ri­ence with use of agi­le soft­ware deve­lo­p­ment prin­ci­ples is also bene­fi­ci­al.
  • In par­ti­cu­lar, secu­ri­ty exper­ti­se in cloud plat­forms like Azu­re and GCP, ver­si­on con­trol sys­tems, espe­ci­al­ly Git­Hub, scrip­ting and auto­ma­ti­on skills in Python, Bash, and/or Power­Shell are neces­sa­ry. An under­stan­ding of .Net & Kuber­netes envi­ron­ments as a plus.
  • A pas­si­on for lear­ning and stay­ing abre­ast of the latest trends, tac­tics, and tech­no­lo­gies in cyber­se­cu­ri­ty. A proac­ti­ve mind­set with a knack for pro­blem-sol­ving and cri­ti­cal thin­king. A wil­ling­ness to chall­enge “how things have always been done” and pro­po­se more effi­ci­ent, auto­ma­ted, or effec­ti­ve solu­ti­ons.
  • A col­la­bo­ra­ti­ve spi­rit and a desi­re to con­tri­bu­te to a cul­tu­re of con­ti­nuous impro­ve­ment and inno­va­ti­on, eager to share know­ledge and learn from others. You thri­ve in a team and enrich it with your open, authen­tic, down-to-earth per­so­na­li­ty.
  • Eng­lish pro­fi­ci­en­cy is requi­red, along with eit­her exis­ting Ger­man skills or a strong moti­va­ti­on to learn the lan­guage on the job with sup­port from our edu­ca­ti­on pro­grams.
