About Us

The Digi­tal Bio­mar­kers & Remo­te Pati­ent Manage­ment (dBM & RPM) chap­ter at Roche Infor­ma­ti­on Solu­ti­ons is a mul­ti­di­sci­pli­na­ry team of sci­en­tists, tech­no­lo­gists, data ana­lysts, and ope­ra­tio­nal experts. We use mobi­le tech­no­lo­gies like weara­bles and smart­phones to con­ti­nuous­ly and objec­tively cap­tu­re sen­sor data from pati­ents invol­ved in cli­ni­cal tri­als and health­ca­re set­tings.

Our mis­si­on is to co-deve­lop novel digi­tal bio­mar­ker con­cepts that ser­ve as sen­si­ti­ve and meaningful end­points in drug deve­lo­p­ment. We build com­ple­te tech­no­lo­gi­cal solu­ti­ons, deve­lop health out­co­me mea­su­res, and pur­sue accep­tance of the­se digi­tal end­points within regu­la­to­ry and sci­en­ti­fic com­mu­ni­ties. We also deli­ver full-ser­vice sup­port to bio­phar­ma part­ners and rese­arch insti­tu­ti­ons for coll­ec­ting and ana­ly­zing digi­tal end­point data. Bey­ond that, we are sha­ping the sci­en­ti­fic foun­da­ti­on for future solu­ti­ons in cli­ni­cal dise­a­se moni­to­ring and scree­ning.

Your Respon­si­bi­li­ties

  • Crea­te core sci­en­ti­fic mes­sa­ges for pro­duct mar­ke­ting and posi­tio­ning

  • Enga­ge with cli­ents during both pre-sales and post-sales inter­ac­tions

  • Sup­port sci­en­ti­fic com­mu­ni­ca­ti­ons via con­fe­ren­ces, white­pa­pers, and peer-review­ed publi­ca­ti­ons

  • Offer sci­en­ti­fic direc­tion for data-dri­ven rese­arch and ana­ly­sis pro­jects

Must-Have Qua­li­fi­ca­ti­ons

  • Ph.D. in Life Sci­en­ces or rela­ted disci­pli­ne and at least 5 years of expe­ri­ence in the phar­maceu­ti­cal or digi­tal health indus­try ( )

  • Pro­ven record of high-impact publi­ca­ti­ons in peer-review­ed sci­en­ti­fic jour­nals ( )

  • Strong exper­ti­se in sen­sor data and digi­tal bio­mar­ker deve­lo­p­ment ( )

  • Excel­lent com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on skills with the abili­ty to lead and empower teams ( )

  • Pri­or cli­ni­cal expe­ri­ence in Neu­ro­sci­ence, par­ti­cu­lar­ly in Parkinson’s, Huntington’s, Mul­ti­ple Scle­ro­sis, or Alzheimer’s dise­a­se ( )

  • Full pro­fes­sio­nal pro­fi­ci­en­cy in Eng­lish

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Prac­ti­cal expe­ri­ence working with sen­sor or other high-fre­quen­cy/­com­plex time-series data, inclu­ding fea­ture engi­nee­ring

  • Back­ground in digi­tal cli­ni­cal out­co­me assess­ments, end­point deve­lo­p­ment, and digi­tal bio­mar­kers

  • Expo­sure to FDA/EMA regu­la­to­ry pro­ces­ses or invol­vement in regu­la­to­ry con­sor­tia rela­ted to cli­ni­cal deve­lo­p­ment and novel end­points

  • Fami­lia­ri­ty with engi­nee­ring and hard­ware tools for remo­te pati­ent moni­to­ring and sen­sor data acqui­si­ti­on
