You can move it

  • You are respon­si­ble for plan­ning, desig­ning and mana­ging the space program’s data archi­tec­tu­re
  • You deve­lop models and struc­tures for sto­ring and acces­sing lar­ge volu­mes of data
  • You inte­gra­te data sources (e.g. satel­li­tes, ground sta­ti­ons) and imple­ment inter­faces
  • You main­tain the data throug­hout its enti­re life­cy­cle
  • You ensu­re data qua­li­ty and com­pli­ance with neces­sa­ry secu­ri­ty and com­pli­ance stan­dards
  • You imple­ment sys­tems for pro­ces­sing and ana­ly­zing the data
  • You ensu­re the sca­la­bi­li­ty of the data infra­struc­tu­re to meet future requi­re­ments and gro­wing data volu­mes
  • You ensu­re high avai­la­bi­li­ty, relia­bi­li­ty and per­for­mance of the data infra­struc­tu­re

What you should bring with you

  • Com­ple­ted degree in com­pu­ter sci­ence, data sci­ence or a rela­ted disci­pli­ne
  • Seve­ral years of pro­fes­sio­nal expe­ri­ence in data archi­tec­tu­re, data engi­nee­ring, and/or data manage­ment
  • Pro­fes­sio­nal expe­ri­ence in the space field and with Dev(Sec)Ops struc­tures
  • Strong hands-on men­ta­li­ty, self-manage­ment skills and a proac­ti­ve atti­tu­de
  • Solu­ti­on-ori­en­ted, con­nec­ted thin­king mind­set and an eye for com­plex struc­tures and pro­ces­ses
  • Strong com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on skills and an under­stan­ding of proac­ti­ve stake­hol­der manage­ment
  • EU and/or CH work per­mit and no ent­ries in public regis­ters (due to secu­ri­ty scree­ning)
  • Busi­ness flu­ent in Eng­lish (writ­ten and spo­ken) with Ger­man skills (advan­ta­ge­ous)
