In Roche’s Phar­maceu­ti­cal Rese­arch and Ear­ly Deve­lo­p­ment orga­niza­ti­on (pRED), we make trans­for­ma­ti­ve medi­ci­nes for pati­ents in order to tack­le some of the world’s toug­hest unmet health­ca­re needs. pRED& Phar­maceu­ti­cal Sci­en­ces (PS) group enables dis­co­very and deve­lo­p­ment of safe and effec­ti­ve the­ra­peu­tics at opti­mal doses in rele­vant popu­la­ti­ons with a visi­on to power trans­la­ti­on, con­ti­nuous­ly impro­ve the accu­ra­cy of our pre­dic­tions and acce­le­ra­te the deve­lo­p­ment of tomorrow’s medi­ci­nes. PS sup­ports dis­co­very and deve­lo­p­ment across the who­le value chain from tar­get assess­ment to on-mar­ket and bey­ond. This posi­ti­on is loca­ted in Patho­lo­gy and Appli­ed Safe­ty Sci­ence, a chap­ter within the Phar­maceu­ti­cal Sci­ence func­tion, which enables port­fo­lio decis­i­ons through proac­ti­ve and inte­gra­ti­ve patho­lo­gy exper­ti­se. We col­la­bo­ra­te clo­se­ly with our the­ra­peu­tic are­as and func­tions to con­vert hypo­the­ses into inno­va­ti­ve the­ra­peu­tics.

Join us as a Data & Digi­tal Work­flow Spe­cia­list — Con­trac­tor to play a pivo­tal role in opti­mi­zing our data hand­ling, stream­li­ning our digi­tal work­flows, and bridging the gap bet­ween tech­ni­cal and busi­ness func­tions. Col­la­bo­ra­te with our sci­en­ti­fic and tech­ni­cal teams to adopt cut­ting-edge advance­ments while ensu­ring our data and work­flows adhe­re to FAIR (Findable, Acces­si­ble, Inter­ope­ra­ble, and Reusable) prin­ci­ples. Pro­vi­de a seam­less expe­ri­ence for end-users while con­tri­bu­ting to broa­der data and busi­ness stra­te­gies.

The per­fect can­di­da­te is an ana­ly­ti­cal­ly-min­ded data pro­fes­sio­nal with a Master’s degree in a quan­ti­ta­ti­ve sci­en­ti­fic field and at least 2–3 years of pro­ven expe­ri­ence opti­mi­zing digi­tal work­flows, data pipe­lines, and imple­men­ting FAIR data prin­ci­ples within a sci­en­ti­fic or lab envi­ron­ment

Tasks & Respon­si­bi­li­ties:
•Enhan­ce data acces­si­bi­li­ty and inter­ope­ra­bi­li­ty through FAIR work­flows and pro­cess ana­ly­sis. •Opti­mi­ze data pipe­lines, inte­gra­te digi­tal tools, and migra­te lega­cy data for bet­ter usa­bi­li­ty.
•Lead pro­duct deve­lo­p­ment, solu­ti­on roll­outs, user trai­ning, and chan­ge manage­ment. •Docu­ment work­flows and pro­vi­de ongo­ing sup­port to ensu­re effec­ti­ve sys­tem usa­ge.
•Act as the pri­ma­ry liai­son bet­ween IT, busi­ness, and end-users, report­ing pro­gress to lea­der­ship.

Must haves:
•Mini­mum Master’s in Sci­en­ti­fic or Engi­nee­ring Disci­pli­nes, Bio­in­for­ma­tics, or Data Sci­ence.
•2–3 years pro­ven track record in busi­ness ana­ly­sis, data pipe­lines, and digi­tal work­flow opti­miza­ti­on, espe­ci­al­ly in scientific/lab envi­ron­ments.
•A strong under­stan­ding of FAIR data prin­ci­ples, pro­cess ana­ly­sis, and pro­duct owner­ship.
•Expe­ri­ence with SLIMS, LIMS, eLN, data manage­ment sys­tems, and lab auto­ma­ti­on is a plus.
•Col­la­bo­ra­ti­ve, ana­ly­ti­cal, and solu­ti­on-ori­en­ted, with excel­lent com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on and stake­hol­der manage­ment skills.
•Eng­lish flu­ent is a MUST, Ger­man and French are nice to have
