In a glo­bal, cross-func­tion­al envi­ron­ment, the PCR Soft­ware Deve­lo­p­ment chap­ter is respon­si­ble for deve­lo­ping and main­tai­ning inte­gra­ted, uni­fied and relia­ble soft­ware solu­ti­ons for Mole­cu­lar Dia­gno­stics Sys­tems by lever­aging our advan­ced capa­bi­li­ties, in-depth know­ledge and strong inter­nal & exter­nal part­ner­ships dri­ving the accu­ra­cy, effi­ci­en­cy and agi­li­ty in inno­vat­ing the Mole­cu­lar Lab expe­ri­ence for our cus­to­mers and pati­ents throug­hout their jour­ney.

As a Soft­ware Engi­neer with a focus on DevOps, you will be part of our shared ser­vice DevOps team play­ing a pivo­tal role in desig­ning, deve­lo­ping, and main­tai­ning soft­ware solu­ti­ons. You will enable our Mole­cu­lar Lab net­work to deli­ver accu­ra­te and time­ly dia­gno­stic solu­ti­ons and your con­tri­bu­ti­ons will empower our cus­to­mers to make a real impact in pati­ent care.

The per­fect can­di­da­te:
The ide­al can­di­da­te for this role is a proac­ti­ve and expe­ri­en­ced DevOps Soft­ware Engi­neer with 4–8 years of expe­ri­ence. They should be pro­fi­ci­ent in tech­no­lo­gies such as Git and con­tai­ne­riza­ti­on, with a strong back­ground in Linux, Bash, and Python scrip­ting. The per­fect can­di­da­te is a col­la­bo­ra­ti­ve pro­blem-sol­ver who can effec­tively com­mu­ni­ca­te com­plex con­cepts and is moti­va­ted to make a posi­ti­ve impact on both their team and the company’s cus­to­mers.

Tasks & Respon­si­bi­li­ties:
• Deve­lop and main­tain DevOps pipe­lines, infra­struc­tu­re and docu­men­ta­ti­on by app­ly­ing in-depth tech­ni­cal know­ledge and pro­blem-sol­ving skills, while ensu­ring com­pli­ance with regu­la­to­ry stan­dards for medi­cal soft­ware
• Dri­ve the time­ly deli­very of sta­ble, secu­re and sca­lable sys­tems, mee­ting orga­niza­tio­nal stan­dards and cus­to­mer requi­re­ments while enab­ling fas­ter deve­lo­p­ment cycles and impro­ved relia­bi­li­ty
• Com­mu­ni­ca­te com­plex tech­ni­cal con­cepts effec­tively, fos­te­ring an envi­ron­ment of col­la­bo­ra­ti­on and con­ti­nuous lear­ning within and across diver­se and inter­cul­tu­ral teams
• Empower your team mem­bers to take owner­ship of their work and lea­ding by exam­p­le to fos­ter team­work and men­tor­ship

Must Haves:
• Bachelor’s degree or equi­va­lent prac­ti­cal expe­ri­ence in a spe­cia­li­zed field rela­ted to DevOps deve­lo­p­ment or engi­nee­ring
• 4–8 years of expe­ri­ence in DevOps with one or more tech­no­lo­gies (e.g. Git, con­tai­ne­riza­ti­on, vir­tua­liza­ti­on, CI/CD pipe­line, Kuber­netes)
• Capa­ble of sol­ving com­plex issues crea­tively and effec­tively, using a mul­ti-face­ted approach based on tho­rough ana­ly­sis to resol­ve com­plex tech­ni­cal chal­lenges
• Excel­lent com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on skills with the abili­ty to fos­ter an inclu­si­ve and diver­se envi­ron­ment as well as col­la­bo­ra­te effec­tively within and across teams
• Flu­ent in Eng­lish
• Linux expe­ri­ence (Debi­an or Ubun­tu)
• Advan­ced Scrip­ting in bash and python
• Micro­soft Azu­re DevOps/ Git­Hub
• Moti­va­ti­on to make an impact to your fel­low team mem­bers, our com­pa­ny, our cus­to­mers and our pati­ents
