Man­da­rin Ori­en­tal Savoy, Zurich is loca­ted in the heart of the Old Town, in the main busi­ness cen­ter, clo­se to the city’s lei­su­re attrac­tions and just a short walk from the shores of Lake Zurich. The Man­da­rin Ori­en­tal Savoy, Zurich has 80 guest rooms and sui­tes and three dining venues, inclu­ding an all-day dining restau­rant, a spe­cial­ty restau­rant and a lob­by lounge. The hotel is ide­al for mee­tings and events with its new­ly reno­va­ted event faci­li­ties, inclu­ding a grand his­to­ric ball­room.

About the job

Based at the Man­da­rin Ori­en­tal Savoy, Zurich within the House­kee­ping Depart­ment in Zurich, the House­kee­ping Atten­dant is respon­si­ble for clea­ning and main­tai­ning the guest rooms assi­gned to the room atten­dant on a dai­ly basis. The House­kee­ping Atten­dant reports to the House­kee­ping Mana­ger and Assistant House­kee­ping Mana­ger.

THE ROLE

As House­kee­ping Atten­dant, you will be respon­si­ble for the fol­lo­wing tasks:

  • Pro­fes­sio­nal clea­ning and main­ten­an­ce of guest rooms, public are­as, and back-of-house spaces
  • Per­forming turn­down ser­vice and hand­ling guest requests
  • Respon­si­ble use of clea­ning sup­pli­es in com­pli­ance with hygie­ne and safe­ty stan­dards
  • For­war­ding lost and found items to the house­kee­ping office
  • Report­ing tech­ni­cal defects to the rele­vant depart­ments
  • Assis­ting with spe­cial tasks within the house­kee­ping depart­ment
  • Mana­ging and dis­tri­bu­ting laun­dry, guest amen­i­ties, and mini­bar items to flo­or sto­rage rooms
  • Pro­ces­sing and mana­ging guest laun­dry, as well as issuing hotel uni­forms
