Your Tasks
Authoring descriptive, operational and procedural data modules or page blocks to ASD S1000D and iSpec 2200 specifications. Working from engineering reports, 2D drawings, 3D models
Lead author on required projects, responsible for co-ordination with external authoring support and internal engineering departments
Production of service bulletins and maintenance manuals for all Pilatus aircraft
Liaising with the illustrating team for the creation of associated graphical support
Co-ordination with Pilatus departments for the Design Organisation Authority approval of all technical publications
Maintaining task tracking processes to ensure on time delivery
With this you convince us
Electrical or mechanical apprenticeship, formal technical training, or equivalent hands-on experience in aviation maintenance
Minimum 8 years’ experience as a technical author writing aircraft technical documentation to the ASD S1000D and iSpec 2200 specifications
Primary experience should be in AMM authoring with knowledge of SBs
Familiarity with Arbortext Editor, Oxygen Editor, Adobe FrameMaker and Microsoft Office suite as well as experience in working within a Common Source Data Base (CSDB) environment
Strong knowledge in the use of ASD Simplified Technical English
Fluency in English (C1) with good communication skills, knowledge of German would be an advantage
