Pro­cu­re­ment Pro­ject Mana­ger (f/m/d)

Back­ground:
The Pro­cu­re­ment Pro­ject Mana­ger is lea­ding a broad ran­ge of pro­jects within the area of Dia­gno­stics Direct Pro­cu­re­ment but also in clo­se col­la­bo­ra­ti­on with stake­hol­ders and adjoi­ning func­tions. The­se pro­jects include the deve­lo­p­ment, deploy­ment, and con­ti­nuous impro­ve­ment of sta­te-of-the-art pro­cu­re­ment pro­ces­ses but also digi­tal Pro­cu­re­ment Solu­ti­ons, lever­aging both tra­di­tio­nal but also agi­le ways of working. In addi­ti­on, the Pro­cu­re­ment Pro­ject Mana­ger is lea­ding bench­mar­king and sourcing pro­jects, lever­aging modern digi­tal tech­no­lo­gies and pro­cu­re­ment tools (e.g. eAuc­tions). On the top the can­di­da­te should be able to run Data Ana­ly­tics and Data Intel­li­gence in order to pro­vi­de weekly and month­ly reports to the Pro­cu­re­ment orga­niza­ti­on pro­vi­ding stake­hol­ders with fact-based insights and report­ing to sup­port end-to-end gover­nan­ce and pipe­line health.

Tasks & Respon­si­bi­li­ties:

• Deve­lop and exe­cu­te com­pre­hen­si­ve pro­cu­re­ment pro­ject plans, con­side­ring time­lines, bud­gets, and resour­ce requi­re­ments
• Col­la­bo­ra­te with stake­hol­ders to defi­ne pro­ject sco­pes, objec­ti­ves, and deli­ver­a­bles
• Moni­tor and con­trol pro­ject exe­cu­ti­on
• Moni­tor and miti­ga­te risk — Moni­tor the pro­gress of pro­jects and proac­tively iden­ti­fy and report any pro­jec­ted risks to over­all tar­gets or time­lines as well as poten­ti­al miti­ga­ti­on stra­te­gies. Resol­ve issues and pro­ject risks on a time­ly basis and esca­la­te issues and risks whe­re appro­pria­te
• Plan­ning, design, and lea­der­ship of glo­bal Sourcing & Bench­mar­king pro­jects
• Lead cross-func­tion­al col­la­bo­ra­ti­on with the inter­nal and exter­nal part­ners; Lea­ding and coor­di­na­ting cross-func­tion­al teams
• Dri­ve clo­se ali­gnment with rele­vant stake­hol­ders within Roche Dia­gno­stics and across Roche Group
• Lead glo­bal, cross-func­tion­al pro­jects to expand and con­ti­nuous­ly impro­ve the modern pro­cu­re­ment pro­cess land­scape
• Col­la­bo­ra­te with stake­hol­ders to gather requirements/improvement poten­ti­al
• Mana­ge back­log
• Lever­aging modern digi­tal pro­cu­re­ment tech­no­lo­gy to dri­ve an effi­ci­ent, com­pli­ant Sourcing & Bench­mar­king pro­cess
• Con­ti­nuous­ly assess and impro­ve pro­cu­re­ment pro­ces­ses, iden­ti­fy­ing oppor­tu­ni­ties for auto­ma­ti­on, stream­li­ning, and cost savings
• Imple­ment best prac­ti­ces and stan­dard ope­ra­ting pro­ce­du­res to enhan­ce over­all pro­cu­re­ment effi­ci­en­cy
• Run Data Ana­ly­tics and Data Intel­li­gence in order to pro­vi­de weekly and month­ly reports to the Pro­cu­re­ment orga­niza­ti­on pro­vi­ding stake­hol­ders with fact-based insights and report­ing to sup­port end-to-end gover­nan­ce and pipe­line health.

Must Haves:

• Uni­ver­si­ty degree, with Engi­nee­ring, Busi­ness, Finan­ce or Life Sci­en­ces degree pre­fera­ble
• 5+ years of pro­cu­re­ment or sup­p­ly chain expe­ri­ence deli­ve­ring mea­sura­ble value in stra­te­gic sourcing, enter­pri­se cost reduc­tion, and/or ope­ra­tio­nal effi­ci­en­cy pro­jects and/or from digi­ta­li­sing Pro­cu­re­ment pro­ces­ses, pre­fer­a­b­ly within glo­bal Phar­ma or Medi­cal Device manu­fac­tu­ring com­pa­ny
• Fami­lia­ri­ty with dif­fe­rent pro­ject manage­ment metho­do­lo­gies such as Agi­le, Scrum, and Water­fall
• Demons­tra­ted under­stan­ding of some / all of the major direct spend cate­go­ries and poten­ti­al cost levers or mar­ket fun­da­men­tals
• Strong back­ground in stra­te­gic sourcing and sup­pli­er manage­ment in new pro­duct deve­lo­p­ment and intro­duc­tion in the medi­cal device/pharmaceutical indus­try, or other high­ly regu­la­ted indus­try
• 3+ years of pro­ject manage­ment expe­ri­ence inclu­ding risk manage­ment, pro­ject report­ing, and deli­ve­ring quan­ti­ta­ti­ve and qua­li­ta­ti­ve results in com­plex envi­ron­ments
• Strong expe­ri­ence in upward com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on and seni­or stake­hol­der manage­ment, sup­port­ed by good inter­per­so­nal com­pe­ten­ci­es (com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on, influen­cing)
• Strong capa­bi­li­ty in nego­tia­ti­on and con­flict reso­lu­ti­on
• Docu­men­ted inter­na­tio­nal stra­te­gic sourcing expe­ri­ence and/or cross-func­tion­al, inter­na­tio­nal pro­jects in Pro­cu­re­ment Area
• Expe­ri­ence in new pro­duct and/or tech­no­lo­gy trans­fer pro­ces­ses and requi­re­ments
• Strong ana­ly­ti­cal expe­ri­ence inclu­ding the abili­ty to dri­ve insights from lar­ge and varied data sources, data visua­liza­ti­on appli­ca­ti­ons (e.g. Tableau, Qlik­view) and data­ba­se appli­ca­ti­ons (e.g. Access)
• Expe­ri­ence with enter­pri­se sys­tems (SAP, Ora­cle) and pro­cu­re­ment / pro­cu­re-to-pay tools such as (e.g. GEP, Ari­ba, Emp­to­ris, SAP)
• Strong Data Ana­ly­sis and Data Intel­li­gence skills using AI tools and other available tools
• High pro­fi­ci­en­cy in Eng­lish
