Job­de­scrip­ti­on

  • We are loo­king for an enthu­si­a­stic and hands-on MES Spe­cia­list with expe­ri­ence in Sie­mens MES / Opcen­ter to sup­port our cli­ent in Bern. This role is ide­al for someone with a solid under­stan­ding of test­ing, exe­cu­ti­on pro­ces­ses, and vali­da­ti­on data­ba­ses, who enjoys working in a dyna­mic envi­ron­ment and con­tri­bu­ting to con­ti­nuous impro­ve­ment initia­ti­ves.

    You will col­la­bo­ra­te with cross-func­tion­al teams, par­ti­ci­pa­te in test­ing and vali­da­ti­on acti­vi­ties, and help ensu­re that manu­fac­tu­ring exe­cu­ti­on sys­tems ope­ra­te relia­bly and effi­ci­ent­ly.

    This is a part-time role (40–50%), offe­ring a gre­at oppor­tu­ni­ty for someone see­king fle­xi­bi­li­ty while con­ti­nuing to grow their exper­ti­se in MES solu­ti­ons.

    Key Respon­si­bi­li­ties

  • Sup­port and main­tain the MES (Sie­mens) envi­ron­ment, ensu­ring sta­bi­li­ty and ali­gnment with manu­fac­tu­ring pro­ces­ses.

  • Exe­cu­te and docu­ment test­ing acti­vi­ties, inclu­ding test scripts, exe­cu­ti­on track­ing, and report­ing.

  • Work with vali­da­ti­on data­ba­ses, ensu­ring com­pli­ance with inter­nal stan­dards and regu­la­to­ry requi­re­ments.

  • Col­la­bo­ra­te with engi­nee­ring, manu­fac­tu­ring, and qua­li­ty teams to iden­ti­fy impro­ve­ments and sup­port ongo­ing MES enhance­ments.

  • Assist with con­fi­gu­ra­ti­on tasks and trou­ble­shoo­ting issues within MES modu­les.

  • (Optio­nal but valuable) Con­tri­bu­te to pro­jects invol­ving Opcen­ter func­tion­a­li­ties and inte­gra­ti­ons.

  • Prepa­re docu­men­ta­ti­on, user gui­des, and trai­ning mate­ri­als when nee­ded.

  • Requi­red Qua­li­fi­ca­ti­ons
  • Appro­xi­m­ate­ly 3–5 years of expe­ri­ence working with MES sys­tems, ide­al­ly Sie­mens-based.

  • Strong under­stan­ding of test­ing, test exe­cu­ti­on, and vali­da­ti­on pro­ces­ses.

  • Expe­ri­ence working with vali­da­ti­on data­ba­ses.

  • Excel­lent com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on skills in Eng­lish (C1) and Ger­man (C1).

  • Abili­ty to work inde­pendent­ly, with a prac­ti­cal approach to pro­blem-sol­ving.

  • Nice-to-Have
  • Hands-on expe­ri­ence with Sie­mens Opcen­ter (high­ly bene­fi­ci­al but not man­da­to­ry).

  • Expe­ri­ence in regu­la­ted or manu­fac­tu­ring envi­ron­ments (phar­ma, med­tech, indus­tri­al).

  • Know­ledge of auto­ma­ti­on or inte­gra­ti­on tech­no­lo­gies.
