The role

As part of a team, you will design & imple­ment ver­sa­ti­le cus­to­mer pro­jects in the web and enter­pri­se envi­ron­ment that are tail­o­red to cus­to­mer needs using modern, agi­le pro­ject methods.

How you’ll make impact

  • Col­la­bo­ra­te clo­se­ly with cus­to­mers to under­stand their busi­ness and trans­la­te requi­re­ments into high qua­li­ty soft­ware. Expect to visit our cus­to­mers around 2–3 times per week.
  • Enga­ge with deve­lo­pers on your team to wri­te clean, main­tainable, and effi­ci­ent code lever­aging metho­do­lo­gies such as pair- and mob-pro­gramming.
  • Learn and grow on the pro­ject by incor­po­ra­ting feed­back from your team mem­bers to ful­ly unlock your poten­ti­al.
  • Sup­port the enti­re soft­ware life­cy­cle with your Dev-Ops men­ta­li­ty from ide­a­ti­on to pro­duc­tion.
  • Auto­ma­te qua­li­ty checks right from the start using tech­ni­ques such as test-dri­ven deve­lo­p­ment and spe­ci­fi­ca­ti­on by exam­p­le.
  • Con­ti­nuous­ly keep up to date with the latest tech­no­lo­gies & trends and share your know­ledge.

What’s important to us

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree (FH, Uni, ETH or simi­lar) in Com­pu­ter Sci­ence, Soft­ware Engi­nee­ring, or a rela­ted field.
  • You have 1–2 years of pro­ven expe­ri­ence as a Java Deve­lo­per with a good under­stan­ding of object-ori­en­ted pro­gramming and best prac­ti­ces.
  • You put the cus­to­mer first and sup­port the project’s suc­cess as a Java Full­stack Engi­neer with the latest Java­Script and Type­Script frame­works such as Angu­lar, React or simi­lar frame­works in the front­end.
  • You bring some know­ledge in dif­fe­rent tech­no­lo­gies, such as Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, data­ba­ses, RESTful APIs, mes­sa­ging, con­tai­ner orchestra­ti­on, micro­ser­vices and cloud plat­forms (AWS, Azu­re, etc.)
  • You have some expe­ri­ence in agi­le metho­do­lo­gies and have work­ed within agi­le deve­lo­p­ment teams
  • You are a good com­mu­ni­ca­tor, team play­er and pro­blem sol­ver and are flu­ent in Ger­man and Eng­lish (at least C1 level)
