The Uti­li­ty & Infra­struc­tu­re Spe­cia­list is respon­si­ble for the tech­ni­cal and orga­niza­tio­nal manage­ment of all clean and black uti­li­ties, as well as HVAC sys­tems. They ensu­re the pro­per ope­ra­ti­on and moni­to­ring of sys­tems such as clean steam, puri­fied water (PW), and HVAC, in com­pli­ance with GMP requi­re­ments and occu­pa­tio­nal safe­ty gui­de­lines.

The role is based in Visp, Switz­er­land. Relo­ca­ti­on assis­tance is available for eli­gi­ble can­di­da­tes and their fami­lies, if nee­ded. This role invol­ves being onsite full time.

What you will do

• Respon­si­ble for the pro­per ope­ra­ti­on and avai­la­bi­li­ty of clean and black uti­li­ty sys­tems

• Moni­to­ring, manage­ment, and orga­niza­ti­on of con­ti­nuous moni­to­ring of puri­fied media sys­tems

• Tog­e­ther with the clea­ning coor­di­na­tor, respon­si­ble for orga­ni­zing and per­forming clea­ning befo­re start-up and after cam­paign com­ple­ti­on, as well as res­to­ring the sys­tem

• Hand­ling devia­ti­ons in col­la­bo­ra­ti­on with QA, QC, and ope­ra­ti­ons; defi­ning appro­pria­te mea­su­res and pre­pa­ring month­ly reports

• Coor­di­na­ting inter­faces with ope­ra­ti­ons, engi­nee­ring, QA, and QC

• Respon­si­ble for all media in the black area, was­te manage­ment, and pro­per dis­po­sal of liquid and solid was­te

• Plan­ning was­te streams for new pro­ducts, part­ne­ring with pro­duc­tion and the envi­ron­men­tal lab

• Pump inspec­tions, sam­pling of PW water, SIWA­KO, manage­ment of sto­rage mate­ri­als / over­g­arm­ents, sup­port in infra­struc­tu­re sys­tem main­ten­an­ce and moni­to­ring

• Bear­bei­tung ent­stan­de­ner Abwei­chun­gen in Zusam­men­ar­beit mit QA, QC und dem Betrieb. Defi­ni­ti­on ent­spre­chen­der Mass­nah­men und Erstel­lung der Monats­be­rich­te

• Koor­di­na­ti­on der Schnitt­stel­len zum Betrieb, dem Betriebsen­gi­nee­ring sowie QA und QC

• Ver­ant­wor­tung für alle Medi­en im Schwarz­be­reich, Abfall­ma­nage­ment, kor­rek­te Ent­sor­gung der anfal­len­den Flüs­sig- und Fest­stoff­ab­fäl­len

• Pla­nung der Abfall­strö­me bei neu­en Pro­duk­ten, Part­ner mit Pro­duk­ti­on und Umwelt­la­bor

• Pum­pen­kon­trol­len, Bemus­te­rung des WP-Was­sers, SIWA­KO, Bewirt­schaf­tung des Lager­ma­te­ri­als / Über­klei­der, Unter­stüt­zung bei Inf­ra Anla­gen im Unter­halt, sowie des­sen Über­wa­chung

What we are loo­king for

• Bache­lor or com­ple­ted tech­ni­cal edu­ca­ti­on in Pro­cess Engi­nee­ring, Mecha­ni­cal, EMR, Che­mi­cal Engi­nee­ring, or a rela­ted field

• In-depth tech­ni­cal know­ledge in CQ and OPs , pos­si­bly in the bio­lo­gi­cal, che­mi­cal and/or phar­maceu­ti­cal indus­try

• Exten­ded EHS know­ledge

• Expe­ri­ence with utilities/HVAC

• Solid inter­nal and exter­nal col­la­bo­ra­ti­on and the abili­ty to lead diver­se teams in the suc­cessful deli­very of pro­jects.

• Expe­ri­ence at working both inde­pendent­ly and in a team-ori­en­ted, col­la­bo­ra­ti­ve envi­ron­ment is essen­ti­al.

• Can con­form to shif­ting prio­ri­ties, demands and time­lines through ana­ly­ti­cal and pro­blem-sol­ving capa­bi­li­ties.

• Abili­ty to effec­tively prio­ri­ti­ze and exe­cu­te tasks in a fast-paced envi­ron­ment.

• Flu­ent in Ger­man and good level of Eng­lish.
