The Nord­wand Group are loo­king for an Ora­cle Data­ba­se Engi­neer / Deve­lo­per for one of their cli­ents to sup­port, deve­lop, and main­tain enter­pri­se-sca­le data models. In this posi­ti­on you will be working clo­se­ly with Archi­tects so having strong ana­ly­ti­cal mind­set and col­la­bo­ra­ti­ve natu­re is important to have in this posi­ti­on.

Duties as Ora­cle Engi­neer / Deve­lo­per

  • Deve­lop / Main­tain SQL and PL/SQL solu­ti­ons
  • Imple­ment com­plex data models
  • Data qua­li­ty checks, per­for­mance tuning, incon­sis­ten­ci­es, and opti­miza­ti­on
  • Impro­ve tech­ni­cal documentation/processes
  • Release prep, test­ing, and deploy­ment
  • Sup­port­ing pro­jects and report­ing

Requi­red CV skills nee­ded

  • Around 3–10 years of working expe­ri­ence with Ora­cle data­ba­ses (PL/SQL & SQL)
  • Scrip­ting using Python
  • Expe­ri­ence working with sche­du­ling tools
  • Power BI or simi­lar tool expe­ri­ence

For this posi­ti­on, we are empha­si­zing team fit and tech­ni­cal skills. Natu­ral­ly, we need someone who is moti­va­ted by tech­no­lo­gy, but you will be requi­red to lis­ten and learn quick­ly, as you will have to beco­me self-suf­fi­ci­ent in a short peri­od of time.
