For our client, a global leader in power and automation technologies specializing in Surge Arrester solutions, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Team Lead Maintenance. Based in Wettingen, Aargau, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance of production facilities and technical systems within a highly automated process manufacturing environment.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy: Provide strategic and operational leadership for the maintenance organization, managing a dedicated team of 6 specialists.

Maintenance Management: Plan, control, and implement maintenance measures, including preventive, corrective, and holistic maintenance concepts.

System Optimization: Develop and execute maintenance strategies to increase plant availability, productivity, and the overall lifespan of equipment.

Budget & Resources: Take full responsibility for budget planning, cost control, and the strategic management of spare parts and inventory.

Project Support: Act as a technical partner for conversion, new construction, and capital investment (CAPEX) projects.

Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to all safety, environmental, and legal regulations within the facility.

Digital Innovation: Drive the continuous improvement of maintenance processes through the introduction of digital tools and KPI-based tracking systems.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a related technical field.

Leadership Experience: Proven track record in professional and disciplinary leadership, with several years of experience in maintenance within a high-volume or process manufacturing environment.

Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of automation, robotics, and industrial control systems.

Methodological Skills: Experience with structured maintenance approaches, continuous improvement (Lean/Kaizen), and condition-based monitoring.

Project Management: Proven ability to manage technical investment projects and collaborate effectively across interdisciplinary interfaces.

Soft Skills: Analytical mindset, a structured way of working, and strong implementation skills combined with high leadership competence.

Languages: Fluent German and English are required for this role.
