We are now looking for an experienced person like: ORACLE Service desk level 3 manager Basel TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES As the manager of the 8 people service desk team, located in Delémont (Ju) but covering Delémont and Basel you will be in charge of very sensitive and critical database environments such as Nuclear Power Plants, Hospitals or Pharmaceutical industries. Your mission will be to support the corporate accounts, providing reliable services and support. Typical accountabilities include but are not limited to: Team management Customer contact Oracle Incident Management (Real Application Cluster, Tuning, Oracle Database Appliance) Other SGBD-R Incident Management such as PostgreSQL and MySQL under Linux and Windows environments with Virtualization technologies Service desk tickets management CMDB maintenance and administration YOUR PROFILE You demonstrate strong management skills, active listening skills, are curious, well-organized and naturally inclined to communicate and share your knowledge. You do not crack under pressure and are able to manage multiple activities keeping in mind your objectives as well as the client requirements. You are passionate about database technologies and aim to develop your technical skills by passing certifications (Oracle, ITIL, aso, etc.). Fluency in German (ideally mother tongue) as well as in English (spoken and written) is a must.
