Con­duct advan­ced sta­tis­ti­cal ana­ly­ses of lar­ge-sca­le Euro­pean cohort data (>20,000 pati­ents) with a focus on joint invol­vement in sys­te­mic scle­ro­sis. Eva­lua­te the pre­va­lence, cli­ni­cal cha­rac­te­ristics, and lon­gi­tu­di­nal cour­se of SSc-rela­ted arthri­tis. Assess the effec­ti­ve­ness and safe­ty of rheu­ma­to­lo­gic the­ra­pies for SSc-rela­ted arthri­tis through ques­ti­on­n­aire-based data coll­ec­tion and ana­ly­sis. Col­la­bo­ra­te with cli­ni­cal rese­ar­chers, sta­tis­ti­ci­ans, and inter­na­tio­nal part­ners to ensu­re high-qua­li­ty data hand­ling and inter­pre­ta­ti­on.

Prepa­re manu­scripts for peer-review­ed jour­nals and con­tri­bu­te to con­fe­rence pre­sen­ta­ti­ons.

Actively par­ti­ci­pa­te in regu­lar pro­ject mee­tings and in the broa­der PhD trai­ning pro­gram

  • Master’s degree (or equi­va­lent) in medi­ci­ne, life sci­en­ces, epi­de­mio­lo­gy, public health, or a rela­ted field
  • Solid know­ledge of bio­sta­tis­tics and hands-on expe­ri­ence with sta­tis­ti­cal soft­ware, pre­fer­a­b­ly R
  • Strong inte­rest in cli­ni­cal rese­arch and auto­im­mu­ne rheu­ma­tic dise­a­ses
  • Pro­fi­ci­en­cy in Eng­lish (writ­ten and spo­ken) for sci­en­ti­fic com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on
  • Abili­ty to work inde­pendent­ly, with excel­lent orga­niza­tio­nal and time-manage­ment skills
  • Team-ori­en­ted mind­set with a col­la­bo­ra­ti­ve working style
