This role is part of the SAP Centre of Excellence and is responsible for ensuring stable, compliant, and audit ready SAP operations across Vetropack Group’s international landscape. The position plays a key role in operational excellence, governance, and coordination during and after the RISE with SAP transformation to SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud, including the upgrade to SAP S/4HANA 2025.
You act as the central interface between internal stakeholders and external SAP service providers, with a strong focus on run stability, controlled change, and compliance.
Your Responsibilities
SAP Application Operations
- Own and coordinate the daily operation of the SAP application landscape in an international, regulated environment
- Act as primary contact for SAP operational topics, incidents, and escalations
- Plan and coordinate releases, maintenance windows, and system downtimes
- Ensure up to date and compliant SAP documentation (Enterprise Portal, SharePoint)
- Support SAP operations alongside the ongoing S/4HANA transformation
Change & Transport Governance
- Govern SAP changes and transports using SAP Solution Manager and successor tools as part of the RISE transition
- Plan and control productive transports, including standard and emergency changes
- Ensure traceability, test documentation, and compliance of all changes
- Coordinate test planning and execution with project teams and business stakeholders
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of change, release, and transport processes
Audit & Compliance
- Support SAP related audits and compliance activities
- Manage security relevant topics such as emergency access, critical authorizations, and approvals
- Coordinate the review and implementation of SAP Security Notes with technical teams
Your Profile
- Strong hands on experience in SAP application operations, SAP governance, or SAP support
- Solid knowledge of SAP Solution Manager, change and transport management
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA environments; RISE Private Cloud is a strong advantage
- Practical exposure to audit, compliance, and SAP security topics
- Proven ability to coordinate with external SAP service providers in international setups
- Structured, reliable working style with strong communication and coordination skills
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
- Experience with SAP Enterprise Portal is an advantage
