As the Glo­bal Pro­cess Owner Order to Cash, Ser­vice Ope­ra­ti­ons (m/f/d) you defi­ne, govern, and con­ti­nuous­ly impro­ve the Order-to-Cash pro­cess in the glo­bal Accel­le­ron ser­vice net­work SAP S/4HANA sys­tem and team. You are enab­ling users to exe­cu­te a seam­less and com­pli­ant O2C pro­cess through glo­bal stan­dards, tem­pla­tes, and sys­tem capa­bi­li­ties. Respon­si­ble for ensu­ring seam­less order ful­fill­ment, accu­ra­te bil­ling, and time­ly invoi­cing by dri­ving pro­cess disci­pli­ne, user adhe­rence, and chan­ge manage­ment, while enab­ling sca­lable, cus­to­mer-cen­tric busi­ness ope­ra­ti­ons. Main­tai­ning ser­vice excel­lence through con­ti­nuous impro­ve­ment initia­ti­ves by fos­te­ring a col­la­bo­ra­ti­ve, team-based Order-to-Cash pro­cess orga­niza­ti­on, avo­i­ding siloed exe­cu­ti­on, and joint­ly imple­men­ting the ser­vice ope­ra­ti­ons stra­tegy through glo­bal pro­cess owner­ship. In this role you will report to the Team Lea­der & Ser­vice Busi­ness Pro­cess Mana­ger (S/4HANA), Glo­bal Ser­vice Ope­ra­ti­ons, and be part of the S/4HANA Flash Team.

Your respon­si­bi­li­ties:

  • Act as the busi­ness Glo­bal Pro­cess Owner and Sub­ject Mat­ter Expert for the end-to-end Order-to-Cash pro­cess, from sales order crea­ti­on to invoi­cing, and cash coll­ec­tion.
  • Repre­sent Order-to-Cash in cross-func­tion­al initia­ti­ves and work in clo­se ali­gnment with the S/4HANA Flash‑, CRM‑, Ope­ra­ti­ons- and Finan­ce orga­niza­ti­ons. This includes Glo­bal Pro­cess Owners, Pro­ject Mana­gers, Cen­tral Ope­ra­ti­ons Teams, Local Power Users and End Users.
  • Build and main­tain a strong Order-to-Cash Power User com­mu­ni­ty within the Ser­vice Net­work, enab­ling dis­tri­bu­ted owner­ship of pro­cess exe­cu­ti­on, adop­ti­on, and know-how.
  • Ensu­re the ali­gnment of all busi­ness pro­ces­ses tog­e­ther with other pro­cess owners.
  • Ensu­re con­sis­tent pro­cess adhe­rence by defi­ning KPIs, moni­to­ring per­for­mance, iden­ti­fy­ing root cau­ses, impro­ve­ment oppor­tu­ni­ties, and sys­tem issues, and dri­ving cor­rec­ti­ve actions with and through defi­ned power users.
  • Coll­ect and ana­ly­ze pro­cess user and cus­to­mer feed­back to iden­ti­fy deve­lo­p­ment are­as of the pro­cess, prio­ri­ti­ze the deve­lo­p­ments, and lead the exe­cu­ti­on of the nee­ded actions.
  • Work clo­se­ly with IS and appli­ca­ti­on owners to defi­ne IT requi­re­ments and user sto­ries, ensu­ring the Order-to-Cash pro­cess is effec­tively sup­port­ed within the SAP S/4HANA land­scape and by the right appli­ca­ti­ons.
  • Mana­ge a set of glo­bal stan­dards, inclu­ding pro­cess docu­men­ta­ti­on and user manu­als, to enable auto­ma­ti­on, intel­li­gent SAP S/4HANA capa­bi­li­ties, and con­sis­tent pro­cess adop­ti­on.
  • Ela­bo­ra­te and eva­lua­te cost saving oppor­tu­ni­ties incl. fea­si­bi­li­ty, impact on pro­duct cos­ts and capi­tal expen­dit­ures (Busi­ness Case).
  • Act as aut­ho­riza­ti­on owner for Requests for Chan­ge (RfCs) within the assi­gned pro­cess, ensu­ring gover­nan­ce, com­pli­ance, and ali­gnment with glo­bal stan­dards.
  • Ensu­re busi­ness test­ing and final release of chan­ges for deploy­ment (deri­ved from impro­ve­ment pro­jects or peri­odic SAP releases) in col­la­bo­ra­ti­on with the S/4 HANA Team.
  • Deve­lop and regu­lar­ly exe­cu­te End User and Power User Trai­ning in col­la­bo­ra­ti­on with Glo­bal End User Trai­ning respon­si­ble and the Power User com­mu­ni­ty.

Your back­ground:

  • Uni­ver­si­ty degree or equi­va­lent hig­her edu­ca­ti­on in Indus­tri­al Engi­nee­ring, Busi­ness Admi­nis­tra­ti­on, or a rela­ted field.
  • Advan­ced func­tion­al know­ledge of SAP S/4HANA, with hands-on expe­ri­ence in SD, PS, and EPPM modu­les; expe­ri­ence with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud would be an advan­ta­ge.
  • Inter­na­tio­nal busi­ness expe­ri­ence and inter­cul­tu­ral com­pe­tence.
  • Expe­ri­ence in pro­cess gover­nan­ce, pro­ject manage­ment, pro­cess auto­ma­ti­on, and/or Lean Six Sig­ma.
  • Self-dri­ven, per­sis­tent, enab­ling, struc­tu­red, col­la­bo­ra­ti­ve, and a strong team play­er with excel­lent com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on skills.
  • Expe­ri­ence working with seni­or manage­ment across dif­fe­rent count­ries and effec­tively com­mu­ni­ca­ting and dri­ving initia­ti­ves across all orga­niza­tio­nal levels.
  • Expe­ri­ence in com­mer­cial sup­port and/or ser­vice coor­di­na­ti­on.
  • Would be an advan­ta­ge: expe­ri­ence in peo­p­le deve­lo­p­ment, coa­ching, and trai­ning ena­blem­ent of Power Users and End Users.
  • Lan­guage skills: Eng­lish (C1 or abo­ve); Ger­man (B2 or abo­ve) would be an advan­ta­ge.
  • Abili­ty to tra­vel glo­bal­ly up to 5 10%.
