As the Glo­bal Pro­cess Owner Pro­cu­re to Pay and Inven­to­ry (m/f/d), you defi­ne, govern, and con­ti­nuous­ly impro­ve the Pro­cu­re-to-Pay and Inven­to­ry Manage­ment pro­ces­ses in the glo­bal Accel­le­ron ser­vice net­work SAP S/4HANA sys­tem. Enab­ling users to exe­cu­te com­pli­ant and con­sis­tent pro­ces­ses through glo­bal stan­dards, tem­pla­tes, and sys­tem capa­bi­li­ties. You are respon­si­ble for dri­ving pro­cess disci­pli­ne, user adhe­rence, and chan­ge manage­ment to ensu­re relia­ble pro­cu­re­ment and inven­to­ry-rela­ted tran­sac­tions, finan­cial inte­gri­ty, and sca­lable ser­vice ope­ra­ti­ons. You main­tain ser­vice excel­lence through con­ti­nuous impro­ve­ment initia­ti­ves by fos­te­ring a col­la­bo­ra­ti­ve, team-based Pro­cu­re-to-Pay and Inven­to­ry pro­cess orga­niza­ti­on and joint­ly imple­men­ting the ser­vice ope­ra­ti­ons stra­tegy through glo­bal pro­cess owner­ship. In this role you will report to the Team Lea­der & Ser­vice Busi­ness Pro­cess Mana­ger (S/4HANA), Glo­bal Ser­vice Ope­ra­ti­ons, and be part of the S/4HANA Flash Team.

Your respon­si­bi­li­ties:

  • Act as the busi­ness Glo­bal Pro­cess Owner and Sub­ject Mat­ter Expert for Pro­cu­re-to-Pay and Inven­to­ry Manage­ment, cove­ring end-to-end pro­cess design, gover­nan­ce, and inte­gra­ti­on within the SAP S/4HANA ser­vice land­scape.
  • Defi­ne, govern, and main­tain glo­bal P2P and Inven­to­ry pro­cess stan­dards, tem­pla­tes, and con­trol­led local vari­ants, ensu­ring con­sis­tent exe­cu­ti­on across the ser­vice net­work while mee­ting local legal and ope­ra­tio­nal requi­re­ments.
  • Work in clo­se ali­gnment with Group P2P, Ser­vice Inven­to­ry, Glo­bal Pro­cess Owner Order-to-Cash, Finan­ce and Con­trol­ling, and other adja­cent pro­ces­ses to ensu­re end-to-end pro­cess inte­gra­ti­on, data con­sis­ten­cy, and finan­cial inte­gri­ty.
  • Build, enable, and main­tain a strong P2P & Inven­to­ry Power User com­mu­ni­ty, enab­ling dis­tri­bu­ted owner­ship of sys­tem pro­cess exe­cu­ti­on, know­ledge sha­ring, and sup­port.
  • Ensu­re con­sis­tent pro­cess adhe­rence by defi­ning KPIs, moni­to­ring per­for­mance, iden­ti­fy­ing root cau­ses and sys­tem issues, and dri­ving cor­rec­ti­ve actions with and through Power Users.
  • Coll­ect and ana­ly­ze user and stake­hol­der feed­back to iden­ti­fy pro­cess and sys­tem impro­ve­ment oppor­tu­ni­ties, prio­ri­ti­ze initia­ti­ves, and lead the exe­cu­ti­on of agreed impro­ve­ments in col­la­bo­ra­ti­on with the S/4HANA Flash Team.
  • Repre­sent the P2P and Inven­to­ry pro­ces­ses in cross-func­tion­al initia­ti­ves, coun­try-spe­ci­fic chan­ges, and regu­la­to­ry or finan­ce-dri­ven pro­jects, ensu­ring con­trol­led and ali­gned imple­men­ta­ti­on within SAP S/4HANA.
  • Work clo­se­ly with IS and appli­ca­ti­on owners to defi­ne busi­ness requi­re­ments and user sto­ries, ensu­ring P2P and Inven­to­ry pro­ces­ses are effec­tively sup­port­ed by SAP S/4HANA and rela­ted appli­ca­ti­ons.
  • Act as aut­ho­riza­ti­on owner for Requests for Chan­ge (RfCs) within the assi­gned pro­ces­ses, ensu­ring gover­nan­ce, com­pli­ance, prio­ri­tiza­ti­on, and ali­gnment with glo­bal stan­dards and SAP release stra­tegy.
  • Ensu­re busi­ness test­ing, user accep­tance, and final sign-off of pro­cess chan­ges and SAP releases, inclu­ding regres­si­on test­ing impacts on P2P and Inven­to­ry pro­ces­ses.
  • Deve­lop and exe­cu­te end-user and Power User trai­ning and ena­blem­ent acti­vi­ties, in col­la­bo­ra­ti­on with Glo­bal End User Trai­ning and the Power User com­mu­ni­ty, to dri­ve adop­ti­on, com­pli­ance, and sus­tainable pro­cess exe­cu­ti­on.

Your back­ground:

  • Uni­ver­si­ty degree or equi­va­lent hig­her edu­ca­ti­on in Indus­tri­al Engi­nee­ring, Busi­ness Admi­nis­tra­ti­on, Sup­p­ly Chain, Finan­ce, or a rela­ted field.
  • Advan­ced func­tion­al know­ledge of SAP S/4HANA with hands-on expe­ri­ence in Pro­cu­re-to-Pay and Inven­to­ry Manage­ment pro­ces­ses (e.g. purcha­sing, goods receipt, inven­to­ry move­ments, valua­ti­on, and invoice veri­fi­ca­ti­on) within a ser­vice ope­ra­ti­ons envi­ron­ment.
  • Strong under­stan­ding of end-to-end pro­cess inte­gra­ti­on bet­ween P2P, Inven­to­ry, Finan­ce Accoun­ting, and Order-to-Cash within SAP S/4HANA.
  • Expe­ri­ence buil­ding and gover­ning glo­bal pro­cess stan­dards, tem­pla­tes, and con­trol­led local vari­ants across mul­ti­ple count­ries and orga­niza­tio­nal units.
  • Pro­ven expe­ri­ence dri­ving pro­cess gover­nan­ce, user adhe­rence, and chan­ge manage­ment in com­plex, inter­na­tio­nal ERP envi­ron­ments.
  • Expe­ri­ence in working with cross-func­tion­al stake­hol­ders, inclu­ding Finan­ce, Tax, Ser­vice Ope­ra­ti­ons, and IT, across dif­fe­rent regi­ons and orga­niza­tio­nal levels.
  • Expe­ri­ence in ope­ra­tio­nal excel­lence, con­ti­nuous impro­ve­ment, pro­cess auto­ma­ti­on, and/or Lean Six Sig­ma metho­do­lo­gies.
  • Abili­ty to ana­ly­ze pro­cess KPIs, iden­ti­fy root cau­ses and sys­tem issues, and trans­la­te insights into actionable impro­ve­ments.
  • Strong peo­p­le and col­la­bo­ra­ti­on skills, with expe­ri­ence buil­ding and enab­ling Power User com­mu­ni­ties and dri­ving adop­ti­on through trai­ning and ena­blem­ent.
  • Self-dri­ven, struc­tu­red, per­sis­tent, and col­la­bo­ra­ti­ve working style with strong com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on and influen­cing skills.
  • Inter­na­tio­nal busi­ness expe­ri­ence and inter­cul­tu­ral com­pe­tence.
  • Lan­guage skills: Eng­lish (C1 or abo­ve); addi­tio­nal lan­guages would be an advan­ta­ge.
