IT Project Manager – Trading, Energy, Commodities – this is a long term contract for our Solothurn based client in the Trading / Energy sector.
Your tasks:
- Develop the project charter and detailed delivery plan.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, changes, risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies throughout the full project life cycle.
- Coordinate delivery to ensure the project is completed on time, within budget and in scope.
- Prepare and maintain project communications, status reporting, and success criteria for sponsors and stakeholders.
- Support stakeholder engagement, workshops, meetings, and collaboration across business and IT teams.
- Work with department heads and the PMO to improve project governance, standards, KPIs and processes.
Your experience/knowledge:
- Experience in IT project management, ideally with complex and fixed-timeline projects.
- Proven experience leading project delivery teams and managing the full project life cycle.
- Strong knowledge of both classical and agile delivery methodologies, including software development lifecycle practices.
- Experience in the energy and/or trading industry is a strong advantage.
- Project management certification such as PMP or Scrum Master is desirable.
- Language skills: English
