Senior IT Engineer – SaaS & Identity vacancy for our Zurich based client in the technology sector.
Your tasks:
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support for macOS devices, application access, audio-visual systems and peripherals, ensuring clear communication and strong ownership.
- Manage the user lifecycle in Okta, including SSO, SCIM provisioning and deprovisioning, user accounts, groups and application assignments.
- Administer and improve the collaboration and workplace stack, including Google Workspace, Slack Enterprise Grid, Jira Service Management, Google Meet and 1Password.
- Manage endpoint devices through MDM, applying compliance standards such as disk encryption, patching, MFA and accurate asset tracking.
- Support office IT operations, including Wi-Fi, meeting rooms and on-site workplace support in Zurich.
- Use AI-assisted automation and scripting to streamline repetitive tasks and maintain clear runbooks and knowledge base content.
Your experience/knowledge:
- At least 5 years‘ experience in IT support or systems administration within a fast-paced, SaaS-first environment.
- Hands-on experience with Okta or a comparable identity provider, plus strong knowledge of Google Workspace and MDM tooling.
- Strong macOS skills, with working knowledge of Linux and comfort using the command line.
- Scripting ability in Python, Bash or PowerShell, with experience using Git/GitHub-based workflows.
- Experience with Jira Service Management administration and ITSM best practices is an advantage.
- Language skills: English
